“I see my view finder as my canvas and the world as my ink; each moment that I capture is a work of art.”  Peter Michael has had a love for art, especially photography, since his childhood. He was always encouraged to use art as an outlet for his energy and creativity, thus nurturing his passion for photography.

 I started studying photography and graphic/web design at MCC after High School earning an Associate's degree, before transferring to the College for Creative Studies of Detroit, where I received a degree in photography. My education has reignited my love for art and I strive to showcase my passion through my photos. My images have been exhibited at Studio 1219 in Port Huron, where an entire room was dedicated to my photos. I have also had my work displayed at local businesses and state wide. My professional portfolio includes head shots for the staff at Brown & Brown of Detroit, event photography for the Rhonda Walker Foundation, Paula Tutman's Children's Tooth Fairy Foundation, Crain's Detroit Magazine, Metro Times, Port Huron High School, St Clair High School, Marine City High School& Marysville High School, Radio First/Liggett Communication. It also includes architectural photography for a Michigan based firm that designs glass structures at the University of Michigan, Michigan State, Delta Dental Head Quarters, Greektown Casino, Barton Malow, Verizon, and WXYZ Detroit. I have worked as a Media Photographer at the North American International Auto Shows of Detroit and Chicago. Another area of photography for which I am proficient is aerial photography and drone photography. This type of work has helped me to showcase events such as the Port Huron to Mackinac sailboat races to skyline views & real estate development in Detroit. Locally, I have been hired to take aerial drone photography of real estate properties. Recently I have added 360 photography to my repertoire. I am the proud owner-operator of Peter Michael Photography Studio located in a 1200 sq ft space in the Riverview Plaza in St. Clair, MI, where I specialize in wedding, high school senior, family and real estate photography.

Peter Michael strives to stay as current as possible with his craft, and has incorporated drone-photography into his repertoire.  He specializes in providing his clients with high-quality images.  He enjoys architectural, landscape, and aerial photography and his passion can be seen in the images he captures.  Peter is most sought after for his work associated with people:  weddings, children, babies, families, and pets.  Regardless of the subject, Peter has an eye for unique beauty and works to capture his views for the world to see. 

Peter Michael is also the organizer of a community Bike ride  called  Slow Cycle and Slow Paddle . " During the warmer seasons we meet up every week for a Slow Cycle and a Slow Paddle on the  Pine River, Belle River and Black River ".
